Once again, a potential trigger, although you would really have to work at misusing this site to trigger yourself.

Try instead at looking at it without judgment, but with joy and appreciation:

We are beautiful at all sizes and all shapes.

^ Love it!!! They look like most of the women I know is the funny thing...including myself. I definitely have bad body image days but I've come to terms with the fact that unless I'm sick (which I don't want to be) I'm going to be a bit on the curvy side. And that's not a bad thing.

I also notice the smiles before most anything else. I guess because that's a large part of beauty to me.

Also I cannot stop looking at them and them man, I want that dress/skirt/top/outfit. Recovery has turned me into a ridiculous clothes hound (which hilarious because I spend a lot of time in pajamas or exercise clothes (I have this thing about being nothing but comfy in my own home and wearing things that I can get inexpensively enough that I don't mind crawling around dusting in them).

I think that is what struck me: they just looked like all the women around me, except that they were taking advantage of the opportunity to stand in front of a camera in clothes and poses they love and their pride, contentment and self-acceptance shone through.

I'm NOT suggesting we post anything like that here, but maybe for our own self-images we should practice doing just that in the privacy of our own homes: wearing something that makes us feel good, that shows our bodies, and taking photos, and - learning to admire and love them.

I agree!!! And I will always promote sites like that because we get too much of an unrealistic picture of what women look like. Even thin women have their lumps and bumps that the Photoshopped pictures take out but those lumps and bumps make us human. We're not all the same size or shape and we're not meant to be,
