OMG!!!!!

This is a 500 cal a day diet, 'take a break from food', they say on their website!!!!!!

It is advertised on tv and they have a magazine, yet people have died and suffered health problems as a result.

It is too shocking for words really!

The lighter life one was in the news a while back. It actually has to be done under doctor supervision as the only way to get the 'food' for it is through a prescription and the participant has to be morbidly obese I believe. The reason it was on the news is people have been selling their 'food' on ebay where people with EDs have been buying it for large sums of money and people have been making quite a profit. It was a plea for people to stop selling it. The whole situation is a fantastic exampleb of how people will exploit each other :(

My mum did that last year - she was 3 stone overweight and she lost 4 stone on it. It's complete meal replacement and her breath smelt TERRIBLE.
When she got on it it was with her doctor and at the time it could only be given to the obese, but now it's one stone overweight that's the limit.
The problem with it is, when you come off the packs of "soup", you still don't know how to eat properly. Hence why so many women put the weight back on and more.
