Here is how diet coke is described on my latest box...

Quote:
Refreshing. Uplifting. Hydrating?

It's true. Research shows that all beverages contribute to proper hydration. That means whether it's your first can of the day or your afternoon pick-me-up, Diet Coke helps you stay hydrated throughout the day. So stick to the Diet Coke taste you love. Your body will thank you for it.

We offer over 80 ways to hydrate, nourish, relax or enjoy every drop of life. For more information on the benefits of hydration, go to: www.everydropmatters.ca

Is this a joke?

Sadly not.

Are you kidding?

Just seeing someone drink any diet soda grosses me out. I was never a big soda drinker, but just the fact that it's like 'the drink' makes it a trigger. I know this sounds dumb, but it's just how i feel hah :pouting:

What about all the research about how the substitute sugar is just as fattening and bad for you? And since when is coke HYDRATING? Soda just makes me more thirsty! Oh and brown soda's are said to be bad for you! This makes no sense at all. Stupid soda. :-x

there was a coke ad in a magazine recently with a big australian actress that said that coke didnt rot your teeth and that it was good for you, etc etc and that it was such a good choice for your family.

I couldn't belive it

Well... in the name of sales and money. Hopefully there aren't too many people out there who are that daft to believe diet soda is good for you.

There is a little boy on my street who collects pop cans for his "business" - he's saving to buy a computer - it's cute.

Sooooo, I buy loads of soda to help the cause 8)

I promised my boyfriend I would give it up nearly 6 months ago. So far I have only reduced what I drink from 2 litres a day to 1 litre, somedays still drinking 2. What to drink if I don't drink that? water makes me thirsty.

He brought it up with me last night, saying I had promised to give up cigarettes and diet coke and as far as he could tell there was not much effort being made in either those areas or in the ed area. Actually I gave gone from smoking about 20 per day to about 5 so progress is being made, is just that I seem to have stopped trying to give up on about 5 per day.

Grrrrr

xxxx
