It's interesting; I like that he points out that, although it's pretty, it's not practical. Our culture's obsession with appearance is deep-set. Often we our more concerned with how we or a product looks than we are with the actual content.

warning: this is a bit of a frustrated technophile rant
Personally, I think this guy is ridiculous. Yes, it sucks that the battery cannot be easily replaced. But if I was at CES, I would bring a more powerful computer, not an ultraportable that is meant specifically for traveling business people. This notebook is meant to fill out Apple's notebook lineup...it would be extremely useful to some people. But the utraportable computer market is a very specified niche anyway - and it really frustrates me as a loyal mac user/technophile when people don't get that ultraportables are meant to be second computers. One thing he didn't mention is that the MacBook Air is completely recyclable, and has the least environmentally harmful screen available today. And personally, I don't think that it is as pretty as the MacBook pros. But if I were ever looking for an ultralight, ultraportable computer to use while commuting or traveling for business, this would be the one. Oh, and btw, it also has the option of having a solid-state hard drive....which is just amazing for any computer.
