Does this make anyone else gag? All these bitches women look exactly the same! I haven't actually read anything on this "campaign", but I saw the ads today while I was lingerie shopping online.

Maybe Victoria's Secret got confused and thought "diversity" (putting a black girl and a vaguely ethnic-looking model in with all the white models) is the same as body diversity?

Well that sure does seem pointless. I'm not even going to start on how objectifying the "meet our new bodies" over an image of half-naked female bodies seems.

I'm so glad all the tall, beautiful supermodels who look exactly the same have been selected for this photoshoot. Such a great way to make a statement. :sarcasm:

Also, it sorta makes me feel like in order to love my body, I should look like them. There's no chance in hell that's going to happen. For starters, I would need leg extensions.

Advertising doublespeak! The 'Body' they refer to is a peiece of cloth and I guess metal and foam? Or whatever those bras etc are made of. Sire, you can love your 'Body' while hating your actual flesh and bones.

yeah, it took me a few clicks to realize when they say "body" they mean "bra". veeeeery clever. even so, all those bras (except being different colors) look exactly the same to me. I'M GOING BODILESS TODAY.

This entire ad campaign is just a giant failure in every aspect, and it put me off the entire store.

Straight where my brain went.

I always wondered what size inclusivity looked like...where did you find this - needs to be posted on social media. If we can get going on A&F CEO's seven year old comments about only selling to cool kids, we should be getting our dander up about this, too.

Okay, I laughed out loud. :-)

I have never been a fan of Victoria's Secret...this just makes me want to flip the store off every time I pass one now. (I probably won't though.)

I could swear this is an old picture. I'm sure I've seen it before?

If you hadn't said that body meant bra I never would have figured that out.

Yes, bogus.

We can complain all we want, but protesting with money makes a lot of sense. Don't shop there.

I'm assuming when they say There's a Body for Every Body, they simply mean they do a range of different sizes. Though I doubt there's a Body for me as they won't make them that small (32 AA). So, I'm also going Bodiless! And, photoshop much??!

I just looked, and it is. It's from 2010. I just found the images when I searching for lingerie for "different types of bodies" online and they made LOL and simultaneously feel the handbag we're all in move a little closer to hell, so I posted them. I did say in my first post I did absolutely no research whatsoever!

I found a youtube video of the accompanying commercial (again, TRIGGER WARNING). It looks like the ad was actually pulled pretty quick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRtvpdV3XM4

Victoria's Secret own website still carries the "I Love My Body" products, but it seems to have been reduced to "body care" products such as lotions and perfumes.

Actually I think smaller is easier to find. One of my poor friends is a 38F!

Don't know if this merits it's own thread but here's a link to a blog by a former VS 'Angel' where she spills the beans on all the photoshopping etc that goes on.
