As always, take care of yourself if you find unrealistic media portrayals of women triggering and hit the "back" button and go to another forum. ONLY watch if you are safe to do so without feeding your eating disorder. Feel free to respond and talk about how you felt after watching.

Ok, I can safely say I was not triggered by this.
However, I was demoralised and sad, that we are going backwards and the sexualisation of women and young girls has reached such lows. How are we to navigate in such a world that presents us with such airbrushed and unrealistic body images, and how are we to teach our daughters and sons that these things are not the measure of a person's worth, personality, success or soul? For the first time in decades, in Canada, women's income as a proportion of men has declined, marginally, but nontheless, declined. Is there a relationship between the sexualisation of women and the success of women in the workforce and the perception of their value as employees, particularly where they do not fit images like this?
