I've seen it in a news article elsewhere too, so I think it could be genuine. Not 100%- suppose it could be an elaborate setup to make a point- but it looks as though it is. pretty sad that this kind of thing could have become thought of as acceptable really isn't it? I HOPE it's a joke of some sort, but I suspect not.

I think that was posted here somewhere already... I can't find the thread.

I don't really understand how they'd "compete". Reality TV is ridiculous. Does anyone else watch illwillpress? There's a good reality TV rant on there.

"How about this... stop with the fucking reality shows. I am so sick of this fucking bullshit with the fucking fake-ass marraiges for money, the munchkin bachelor shit, and anything that has to do with greedy motherfuckers who will degrade themselves for cash."

It was. But I don't recall where. If I come across it I'll put a link in so they can be joined.

I don't mind reality TV myself. There's some of it that isn't so bad. On the other hand, this is just plain stupid. In fact the idea of plastic surgery used for this purpose is so incredibly stupid. I think reconstructive surgery after an illness or an injury (like after my mom got into her accident when she was 19) is a wonderful thing, but this is just ridiculous.

Yes, I swear it's been posted before, but I couldn't find it here, sorry. :(

I'm just hoping so much it isn't true.

I watched it with my mum out of curiosity. They made a big deal about showing how wrong the girls looked in bikinis and everything they needed fixed. It was ridiculous how many perfectly fine features they wanted changed, things like skinny girls getting tummy tucks. There was one woman who had a mastectomy or something and that makes sense to have altered, but the rest was slightly sickening.

Relax! Nobody minds. ;-)

Looks like it is true if Kate has seen it though...
