Kills you as in it's funny, awful, triggering, or...?

[I'm afraid to Google it in case it's something that will make me feel bad.]

awful/triggering. i have to consciously make an effort to look away. its basically all incredibly thin models, and it just does close ups on collar bones, hip bones, etc. i dont think you need to google it, in case its as upsetting for you as it is me.

I think what bothers me about the VS models and VS as a company in general, is that they claim they use "curvy" models. And yes, they do use models that are larger than the industry standard, but that doesn't make them "curvy".

^ I'm pretty sure their definition of 'curvy' is boobs! VS pretty much equals tanned sticks with massive boobs.

i HATE when people use the term curvy like that, because then if i'm bigger than "curvy" models... really fucks with my body image.

I agree, they're using the wrong words. If you're referring to a woman with big tits, use buxom, or even chesty if you have to. (But really, folks, her eyes are on her face, not her chest) If you're referring to a woman who happens to be a bit larger than what the size zero models are, please call her "normal".

There, that sounds better.

Agreed. That's why I put the "curvy" in quotation marks...their wording, not mine. :)

To be fair, I find it annoying when people use "curvy" to mean plus-size, because not all plus-size models are curvy and there are some thin models who are curvy too (though admittedly they are few in number). I've got big boobs and a small waist and wide hips; I'd keep this shape even if I became overweight or underweight. That said, I don't think bones+boobs counts as "curvy" either.
