I think this is something to really keep in mind. I know I get caught up in the idea of doing it "right", and it sometimes feels like if I'm not perfect then it's the apocalypse. But it's just not true and I think it can really hold us back in recovery.

Thanks for this! I was just hysterically crying to my therapist about the challenges of being a perfectionist. This post came at the right time, that's for sure.

Now if I can just convince my brain that this pertains to me and not "just everyone else". If ya know what I mean ;)
